GARBAGE PAIL KIDS ANS 1 PROMO STICKERS

I was going through my Mad magazine collection and ran across a nice little surprise. In the September 2003 issue I found an ad for the 1st series of the Garbage Pail Kids that were released in 2003. Along with the ad came 3 sample promo stickers labeled 1,2, and 3. They are not cards but are still die-cut stickers of three of the cards from series 1.

I haven't been doing too much drawing lately. Mostly little drawings and sketches at work. I thought I'd share some of the more recent ones I did.

TOM BUNK...YOU'RE MY HERO

My favorite artist of all time is Tom Bunk. He has illustrated for Garbage Pail Kids, Mad, and a bunch of other things I love. His artwork is not only full of sick humor, wonderful little details, and never fails to make me laugh my ass off.

Recently I went through my Mad Magazine collection and scanned everything he did for them. This took a hell of a long time but was well worth the work. I plan on posting my favorite Bunk cartoons on this blog over time.

Like I was saying before Tom Bunk adds a lot of great detail to his illustrations, he even added little assholes on the birds!
