BUNK'S JUNK

Not too long ago I was chatting online with my favorite artist Tom Bunk. I told him as I was unable to afford an original piece of his artwork that I would be happy to pick the trash can in his studio. Tom, (being the wonderful and generous chap he is) agreed to save his trash and mail it to me. A few days later I received an envelope of "Bunk's Junk". The thing is, as I expected, one Tom's junk is another man's treasure! He sent me the rough sketches for his upcoming Mad magazine submission. Even though the issue is not on the shelves as I'm writing, I did get a chance to see a few of the final illustrations on Tom's blog. I'm posting them along with the roughs he sent. This was not only the most amazing gift, but also a nice glimpse into his method as he works out the bugs. Or in Bunk style works in the bugs!!
